“In the Bin” empowers individuals to participate in the growing need to save our natural resources by relating their everyday trash vs. recycle choices to the bigger environmental picture. Global warming and the greenhouse effect are briefly discussed.

The origin of recyclable materials is taught as well as their destiny when recycled and manufactured into new everyday products The presentation concludes with two 10 min. videos which reinforces what was learned.

TLC Recycles investigates how recycling is done within your community and tailors the recycling class appropriately. Students come away with practical, hands-on knowledge of how to reduce, reuse and recycle in their daily surroundings.

At just $3 per student this affordably priced recycling class could easily be funded by a community sponsor, school fundraiser or as a PTO enrichment program. See Funding page for more details.
